A pātaka is a Māori storehouse for food. It is usually raised on poles to prevent damp and discourage vermin. The pātaka would be considered tapu or sacred.
At Pātaka we are passionate about food and focus on New Zealand produce made by artisan producers. We would love to share our produce and enthusiasm for the very best NZ produce with you so please visit us to taste a range of local cheeses, salamis, relishes and the delicious Marlborough black garlic.
Relax over our Devonshire tea or take time to savour a cheese tasting plate.
Book a high tea for a group of family or friends and enjoy traditional kiwi hospitality.
Pātaka is opposite St Clair Family Kitchen, right in the heart of the Marlborough vineyards and only ten minutes drive from Blenheim.
